Our Regulatory Mandate

The National Insurance Authority of Somaliland operates under a comprehensive legal framework designed to protect policyholders, ensure market stability, and promote the orderly development of the insurance sector.

All insurance companies, brokers, agents, and intermediaries operating in Somaliland are required to comply with the Acts, Regulations, and Directives published by the NIA.
